The Honda XR400 (designated XR400R'96) was a development
of the motosport series in previous years. It was sold in 1996. One color
was available: Ross White. This was an all new lightweight, midweight
XR. The rear sub frame was removable. The swingarm pivot was combined
with the rear engine mount. A high performance power kit was also

a new logo and the fork
boots were black. The seat is both red and black. There was also new clutch springs. The

The XR400R'98 was sold in 1998 in one color: Ross White. The gas tank logo
was redesigned to
include a yellow Honda wing logo. There was also a new type rear sub-frame. The swingarm
